Challenge
Anglian’s field sales process relies on fragmented tools and manual follow-up, making it harder for reps to receive appointments quickly, communicate consistently with customers, and capture on-site design information in a structured way. The opportunity was to demonstrate a simpler mobile-first workflow that could support appointment handling, offline access, customer messaging, and early-stage design visualisation in one place.
Solution
I designed and built a demo progressive web app for Anglian’s field sales workflow using Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind. The prototype included an admin view to simulate appointment creation, a rep-facing mobile view with customer details and one-tap actions, offline-first appointment access, customer-ready SMS and WhatsApp message generation, confirmation tracking, calendar and mapping links, and an on-site design tool for uploading property photos, marking product zones, selecting frame styles and colours, estimating pricing, and generating a downloadable summary.
